We finally went into Seattle. Mostly we just went to Pike's Place Market which of course was a lot of fun. We ended up not seeing more as Jason called and couldn't get to work as he didn't have enough money for gas. We drove back to Renton so that Larry could save the day and get gas for Jason. Although the main reason why we didn't spend more time in Seattle is that Larry and I are kind of old. With my autoimmune diseases I couldn't be on my feet all day because of the pain and neither could Larry as he has such a bad back being a soldier and all. Regardless we had a lot of fun today. I hope that now Larry can understand why Seattle will always be my second home. I love Seattle. Today we made more plans for this week so keep posted.

"Pike Place" dear. :P Just giving you a hard time :) That's how you know who's a tourist or new to Seattle.
ReplyDeleteHow much of Pike Place did you get to see? There is a little park area where you can sit and chill and look out over the water. Maybe Friday or Saturday you guys can make another trip there and we can do a picnic at the park? Maybe that will help you to make your visit there longer. I could pack some things down or we could get fresh stuff at the market? It's somewhat expensive though. There is a piroshky place down there too if we just wanted something quick.
But yeah a picnic sounds like fun!

Um, we got to see a lot actually. I finally bought a lotion bar! Yeah we can do whatever you want, that'd be cool. Adam took us to eat there, would that be the piroshky place? lol. I don't know what it was but it was uber good. My marionberry and silken tofu smoothie was also good, mmm. A picnic sounds like fun, I say we do it up. :]
